WHAT IS ANDROID. ? ( THE BASIC )

Android is a software package based on Linux operating system. Designed for mobile devices like computer, tablets and smartphone.
It's developed by Google and later OHA ( Open handset alliance ) and it so written in java programming language. Also other programming language can be used to program the Android. The main goal AF android project is to create real world successful end user product also to improve mobile end user experience.

Open handset alliance (OHA) is the consortium of 84 companies such as Google, eBay, Samsung etc led by Google was established 5th November 2007.
Android its open source any one can customise the android platform and create what is called custom ROM. There is a lot of application can be chosen by consumer. It provide many interesting features like live weather, game, advertisement, watching video etc. Also provide features like SMS , calling, internet service, radio, connectivity, share network with a computer and also with nearby devices.

Android application divided in Approximate all category touch human daily activity. Those category includes : connectivity, social media, radio service, SMS, entertainment , productivity and so on.

CODE NAME OF ANDROID.

The history of android version ( its codename ) current start from A-L . those are Aestro, Blender, Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Icecream sandwitch, Jerry bean, Kitkat and Lollipop with new material view concept.


Initial Andy Rubin founded android incorporation in Palo Alto California united state in October 2003. In August 17 2005 Google Google acquired android inc. Check the videos below
