December 15, 2021 Dear Friend, God continues to connect tens of millions of people around the world to Jesus and the Bible through online access to Ellen White's writings. Near the end of her life, Ellen White opened the doors of the book cabinet in her Elmshaven writing room that contained her books and manuscripts, and declared to her son, W. C. White, "Here are my writings; when I am gone, they will testify for me." Today, more people are reading Ellen White's writings in more languages than at any time in the past. . When I wrote you last year about the almost unlimited potential of sharing Ellen White's writings through the Internet, I wondered how much the reading of those writings would increase during 2021. Through November this year our EGW Writings websites and apps have received 82 million visitors—up from 50 million for 2020. On December 20th the new egwwritings.org website will replace our old site. It is loaded with useful new reading and listening features along with an updated study center. A new My Library section synchronizes with your existing EGW Writings family of apps. The new Search+, Related, and Featured tools are a must use experience. We have added many new exciting resources to aid in your Bible study. We added 78 new E. G. White books in 46 languages, including four new languages, for a new total of 137 languages. We also added 497 audiobooks in 13 languages. This year we also launched the new EllenWhite.org site and it is a researcher's treasure trove. In addition to Ellen White's writings, the major collections include Frequently Asked Questions, Questions and Answers, Issues and Answers, Documents, Articles, Topics, Lessons, Incoming Correspondence to EGW, W. C. White Letterbooks, Images, Audio, Video, Pioneer Adventures (for children), and much more. You have at your fingertips a virtual research center. Since the launch of this new site at the beginning of the year monthly users have grown from 50,000 to nearly 460,000. We are so grateful for your generous donations over the past year. We raised enough money to meet our budget and continue the expansion of resources that I described above. This next year, because of inflation and the ever-increasing number of translated E. G. White books and on-going expenses, we need to raise $600,000. I invite you to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and invest in this powerful ministry to help connect people to Jesus through the Spirit of Prophecy. The next three to five years will bring an ever-stronger emphasis on translating Ellen White books into new languages. Each of the 13 divisions of the world church have established translation committees and through new translation software that is provided through the White Estate Internet ministry, we are able to facilitate translation teams in various parts of the world. Special subsidy has been provided by the General Conference to accelerate this work but resources are still needed to get these translations online. We look to expand not only access to Ellen White's writing in new languages online, but also through book publication. I also want to announce that within a few months a new Ellen White compilation, The Three Angels' Messages, will be published in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, followed by other major languages. Let me close with an amazing thought from the Spirit of Prophecy: "When God gave His Son to our world, He endowed human beings with imperishable riches— riches compared with which the treasured wealth of men since the world began is nothingness. Christ came to the earth and stood before the children of men with the hoarded love of eternity, and this is the treasure that, through our connection with Him, we are to receive, to reveal, and to impart."
